0-byte files, is it possible to force recaptures?

I have a bunch of items in my database which are zero bytes. I can’t remember whether they were mac or ios captures; they were probably markdown captures.

They don’t have a ‘Path’, but do have a URL; is there a way to force a redownload while preserving the metadata (such as dates and the internal GUID)? I think I can use an Applescript item under ‘data’ to convert it, but I believe this creates a new entry for it.

Are you saying they’re bookmarks?

I don’t ever bookmark (why bother when you can get the text for the same disk node usage?) but there may have been finger slips - are bookmarks 0 byte files?

hmm, they’re >0 bytes, and have a kind of ‘web internet location’.

My anomalous files are 0 bytes, and have a blank string for kind.

In DEVONthink, hold the Option key and select Help > Report Bug.
