2 Copies of Every Scan

Newbie question…I’m using a Scan Snap with DEVONthink Pro Office and I realized that Scan Snap is saving a generic “untitled00027” pdf on my local drive and DT is saving a custom named version on my network drive (where I want it to go).

Are these files connected somehow?
Can I delete the generic local versions?
Is there a way to tell Scan Snap not to save a copy?

The image-only PDF saved by ScanSnap Manager can be deleted after OCR to DT Pro Office.

You can accomplish that automatically by checking the option “Original Document: Move to Trash” in DT Pro Office Preferences > OCR.
