3 layout/UI suggestions for 3-pane mail view in DTPro Public Beta:

Adjusting the width of the groups pane requires grabbing the very thin unmarked edge just to the right of the pane. An extra pixel or two of thickness here would be very helpful, since the left-right adjust tool tends to pop in and out of existence with the slightest nudge of the mouse in the current setup.

Since the groups pane has mainly… groups, how about omitting the folder icons? That would save a little space horizontally, and reduce visual clutter. Saving every bit of horizontal space is important if one is using DT on a laptop screen and one has long names for groups, and has the classify pane open.

PDFs display in the lower right-hand pane with a narrow band of shadow behind them. Perhaps a preference setting to eliminate the shadow and butt up the pdf page against the pane edge? This would save another sliver of horizontal space, and also remove the visual clutter from having the set of thin vertical lines for the border between the group and content panes immediately adjacent to a second set of thin vertical lines for the pdf page shadow and the pdf page edge.
And let me take this opportunity to shout out mad props for this wonderful app. I love it.
