I have identified that one of the most exciting features of DT3 is Smart Rules. I thought it would be good to share ideas for smart rules.
My first smart rules is focused on the global inbox. Any PDF,Bookmark, HTML, or Webarchive is automatically added to the reading list.
A future release might support im/exporting of smart rules. However, many smart rules can’t be shared - e.g. those searching only in a database/group or moving/copying/replicating to a group or searching for a specific tag as the rule is basically useless without the required database.
Yes I do take your point.
I suppose I was thinking of general principles for the community to share. Take for example Hazel and Keyboard Maestro there are some amazing things people have thought of that I would never have come up with myself.
