Activating server but prevent downloads

Hi all,

Happy New Year to everyone at DT and here on the board.

I’ve done a bit of searching, but not hugely extensive so apologies if this has been addressed.

I want to share one of my databases over the internet, but I would like to prevent users from downloading documents from the database itself. Is this possible?

No, this is not possible to do with WebSharing in DTPO. You can set it to Read Only, so they can’t make changes, but files can still be downloaded.

Yes. that’s now supported - view, add, change, organize (e.g. move), delete and download permissions can be specified for each user/database combination.
