I am trying to use a Shortcut to add geolocation to a DEVONthink document, but I don’t see any way to add this via AppleScript. Am I missing something, or is it not currently possible. I am using version 3, Beta 4.
Maybe there is a better way, but my current shortcut runs ScannerPro and saves the pdf to an iCloud folder. The Shortcut then created a text file with the current lat/long, and I planned to have Hazel and/or Automator along with an AppleScript import the file into DEVONthink and add the location.
What “Shortcut”? Are you referring to macOS 10.15 Catalina?
PS: As shown in the AppleScript dictionary, geolocation is a read-only property.

Ahh… I am not an expert AppleScript user and was searching online for an API/dictionary. Just realized it’s right there in the Script Editor. Didn’t know third party apps were in there.
Guess I’ll have to wait until it’s no longer read only!

Any macOS application with an AppleScript dictionary can display its dictionary in Script Editor.
