I’ve modified the Note.templatescriptd file and renamed it to Journal for my own purpose (after much trial and error). Is there a way to put it on the Toolbar so I don’t have to drill down through the Actions/New from Template menu?
Quit DEVONthink. Put your template into ~/Library/Application Support/DEVONthink Pro 2/Templates.noindex/Toolbar. Start DEVONthink. Use View > Customize Toolbar…. Your template should appear at the bottom of the panel of icons from which you can drag it to the toolbar.
Thanks Korm. Works great. I tried that earlier but I must not have quit and restarted DTPO before trying to customize the toolbar.
