I already imported hundreds of files into my DT database, but I will like now to start organizing the file names and upper folder structures.
If my files will reside in regular Finder folders in Mac OS X, I see that there are several available tools to rename files (e.g. Renamer, Name Mangler, etc.)
Has any body had any experience in attempting to rename through some script function or external application (assuming DT doesn’t have said feature), without having to export the files to the Finder and then reimport them?
I will simply like to have some uniformity in terms of prefix and date structure in my file names. these doesn’t need to be done in a batch fashion, since all files will be different.
