Hi all
so as title says after move to Big Sur the Encrypted databases are greyed out in in the open menu and I can’t seem to open them
what have I done wrong? did I miss something in settings?

On a more serious note, however - I’m going to guess this has something to do with automatic renaming of encrypted databases on opening and closing. Take a look wherever your databases are stored. They should in theory currently be closed (because you can’t open them) and so the file extension should be .dtSparse. What I’m going to guess is that the file extension is instead .sparseimage. If that is the case, you can simply rename the file(s) back to the using the .dtSparse extension and your problem will be solved. Magic.
