I often find myself filing away a document using Move To… (Ctrl-Cmd-M) and then immediately following that up by navigating to that location with To Group… (Ctrl-Cmd-G) (which is labelled as “Go To…” in the popover).
This means re-searching and re-selecting the same destination twice.
It would be great to have an option to “Move and Go To…” which would perform both at the same time.
Possibly in the Move To… popover, holding down Shift could enable “Move and Go” - and work alongside Option and Command-Option for Duplicate and Replicate.

In the meantime (if there will be such feature) you could also use CMD+L to directly jump to the last location (the move location in your scenario).

That is exactly our recommendation: Go > To Group… (Command-L).

Holy Grace!!! I had not looked at the Go menu after installing DT4.
Marvelous.
That will definitely speed up that piece of my workflow, thank you!
A way to Move and Go would still be appreciated, but Command-L eliminates the re-searching and re-selecting which was the biggest piece of friction for me.
(And I’m guessing it is ‘L’ for ‘last’)
It’s even there in DT3! (I haven’t moved to a DT4 beta yet.)

You’re welcome and indeed, it has been there in version 3 for some time now.

Am I wrong, or there are some new items in Go in DT4?
A little rearranging but nothing more.
