In a PDF I’m highlighting the text and adding comments to the “Details” section. Is there any way to remove the yellow box blocking text? Are there better ways to highlight and add annotations? I’ve already searched the forums and found other users with similar questions as mine concerning this issue that went unanswered.
Sorry but no, there is no way to move or remove the annotation’s note.
Development would have to weigh in on this.
Is there a reason you don’t just add a text box to the side of your highlight in the margin of the document? That’s what I do. You can also set your own box and font colour, and I’ve altered the opacity so that if I write over text, I can still see what’s underneath.
The markdown summary file compiles highlights and notes in the order they appear in the text so as long as you position a text box slight lower than the highlight it works fine.
I don’t like using text boxes for a variety of reasons. They clutter the document and you can’t organize them by type like you can with highlights. For example, all red highlights mean a specific thing for all my highlights.
