Annotations made on DTTG does not sync

Very often, when I make some annotations in a PDF file on DTTG, it never syncs to the sync store, (iCloudKit) so in DT3, I can’t see the changes made in DTTG.

So I tried to purge the PDF file that I annotated and re-download it on DTTG. What happened was that the annotations that I had just made were gone. So it is obvious that, at least with some PDFs, the changes made on DTTG are never uploaded to the sync store.

Is anyone experiencing the same issue?

What kind of sync are you using?
(I’m going to guess CloudKit.) :slight_smile:

Yes, you are right. It’s cloudkit.

  • Is there anything reported in DEVONthink’s Window > Log?
  • Is there a triangle on the sync icon in DEVONthink To Go’s bottom toolbar? If so, touch it and tell me what it reports.

No, I don’t see anything.

No, I don’t see anything there either.
So it appears that sync is complete, but it is not, although the changes I made in DT3 syncs to DTTG.
