Annotations

I have added an annotation to a word document (essentially the main learning points from the document)

A little speech has has appeared (identifying there is an annotation) and I can view the annotation because a new group labelled “annotations” has been created at the root level of my database.

My question is is there any way of viewing/linking to the annotation from the original document. For example I find my word document “x” and then look directly at this annotation rather than having to go to the annotations group and search for annotation of “x”.

The annotation is usually accessible by clicking on the x-devonthink-item://… URL in the navigation bar above the document.

Excellent. Thank you.

I don’t get that at all. I don’t see anything before any url that identifies that I have an annotation. How can I show myself that certain files have annotations added to them?
