At least on my M1 Air, it’s no longer possible to select from a contextual menu if you’ve right-clicked from the trackpad by clicking on the bottom-right corner. It may just be an issue with that model; see eg here. It seems to be related to an overhaul of the right-click triggers which introduced the control-return keyboard shortcut.

I’m not seeing any issue clicking in the bottom right corner on an M2 Air.
I actually use two finger click and live in contextual menus all over Macs.

Yes, it seems to be just on M1s, and just with the corner right-click option. One would hope that a fix is on the way, but it’s been disappointing to see it persist in the release version. Not DT’s problem, though! I’m just venting.

Yes, it does. I know Jim let me know this via email, but putting it here for anyone else with a similar issue.

Update: in the unlikely event anyone but me cares about this, corner-click on M1 Air trackpad is fixed still broken in 15.1. (I never knew I cared either, till I couldn’t click with one finger and scroll with the other like I always have…)
