Anyone running DT4 with the dev betas of Tahoe?

Is anyone running DT4 with the Tahoe dev builds?

I’m hearing/reading that they are fairly stable, which means my annual update to the first Public Beta (absolutely against all advice, better judgement and reason) should go smoothly.

He said, famously…

Just wanted to add such cautions

Do know know the phrase, “You break it, you bought it” ? :stuck_out_tongue:

hehe

I’m using DT4 beta (and some internal betas) from Tahoe since Tahoe Developer Beta 1 and in relation to DT4, after a tiny issue with activation it was and is working perfectly fine here.

In relation to Tejoes (Spanish Joke), I had to remove beta 1 from my Mac Studio M4 Max Homer Simpson (another Spanish joke) because it made my Apple Studio Display flicker badly. But in my BYOD at work (Mac mini M2 Pro) with a Philips Brillance 288P (28" 4K) Beta 1 and 2 work better in that monitor than in Sequía (Sorry, another Spanish joke), that use to flicker and had resolution issues.

And apart of some visual glitches, Developer Beta 2 works insanely perfect in my M2 Pro.

Thank you, @chrillek (you know what I mean :star_struck:)

I am. It seems to be working fine for me with DT. I have had a couple of other issues that I can’t quite pin down to the OS beta, but not regarding DT.

The only program I have a problem with is DT4, after every update I do it immediatly as of today and still get the app is not responding message.

We’ve been using DEVONthink 4 since the first Tahoe developer betas without any real issues. Please launch Apple’s Activity Monitor application (see Applications > Utilities), select the frozen DEVONthink in the list of processes, then choose the menu item View > Sample Process and send the result to cgrunenberg - at - devon-technologies.com. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the great service, all is working well. I am much relieved having for the last 3 weeks blaming myself for using Betas and thought I would have to wait it out until the final release.

Unless you’re actually testing and reporting bugs, you still should have waited. You should not run a beta operating system in production or with mission-critical data.

I’m using DT4 since the first developer “Tejodes” beta in my mini M2 Pro without any issue in the things I do.

Ah, edit to comment I did answer to this before
