Is there anyone out there that has written an apple script or automator that would search a receipt pdf and populate designated fields in Devonthink?
I don’t want to have to go through and manually enter the information for every receipt.
I’m not sure what you need exactly. But I’ve done something like that (perhaps) a while ago. Searching for „hazel maybe“ should lead you to that thread.

Can you specifically identify the information to be extracted?
I use the defined amount field, but sometimes have to manually override it
