Assign hotkeys to apply color labels?

Is there a way that I can set things up so that by simply striking a predefined hotkey when DT is frontmost, that DT will apply a color label to whatever file(s) is currectly selected?

I have Quicksilver, Quickeys, and FastScripts all installed on my machine and can use anyone of these to accomplish the task if need be…

Anyone know of a script that can assist in applying a color label to the selected file(s) in DT?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated… Thanks!

no script needed for this. If you name your labels with a unique name (not used by any menu item) you can define a hotkey to it via OS X keyboard preferences.
