A small feature that would be very useful is auto hiding the navigation sidebar and inspector pane while in full screen mode. Some applications like Omnioutliner and Omnigraffle have this where moving the cursor to the left or right edge of the screen temporarily shows sidebars and then hides them once you move away. This is super convenient for apps that require a lot of screen space.
