To stuff all files into a dt database is one thing. I want to/have to keep my files where they are and would like a dt database only with indexed files.
As I see I will have to synchronize all db folders »by hand«, right?
I have nearly no programming skills so please pardon me:
Is there (or could be) a script, that synchronizes the whole db after opening?
There is the “Synchronize” triggered script (a script attached to a group or document using Tools > Show Info > Script) that will synchronize a group (and its subgroups) when that group is selected. See the topics “Triggered Scripts” and “Example Scripts” in Help for more explanation and guidance.
The result isn’t “synchronize the whole db after opening”, but it’s close.
