I currently am using the folder action script to add new files added to a dropbox folder to my database (import, OCR & Delete). This works great!
I need to also have these new files emailed to my assistant. Is there a way to have the script, email the file then run the import, OCR & delete?
I know nothing about scripting unfortunately.
Any help would be very much appreciated!

It may be possible but depends on your email client and its capabilities.
right now, I’m just using the OS X mail client on a headless mac mini that’s running Devonthink. It adds the documents to the database that my staff drops into the dropbox folder remotely. They use a “scanner” app on their phone that automatically saves the file to dropbox.
They just can’t seem to also remember to email the file so I’m trying to find a way to automate it.
So the original needs to be emailed, not the OCR’d version in DEVONthink?
