Automatically opening certain databases

Since upgrading to MacOS Monterrey I’ve had issues with DT3 crashing once or more each week. Manually re-opening each of the 10 databases I use regularly (after a crash) is quite tedious. Is there a function within DT3 or a third-party script available which I can use to automatically open certain databases?

I have KeyboardMaestro, if that helps…

After opening all databases, just add a workspace (see Go menu) and use it whenever necessary. In addition, please choose Help > Report Bug while pressing the Alt modifier key and send the result to cgrunenberg - at - devon-technologies.com - thanks!

Thank you! I will send the bug report momentarily.

See Script: Open or close databases.

Set property theDefaultDatabases to preselect your default databases.

Why use a script over using a workspace?

A script lets me choose what databases to open or close each time it is run and additionally offers default databases. None of this flexibility would be possible with workspaces.

Workspaces creates sets of default databases.
