From some ancient threads in the forums, devonthink 2 does not have autosave feature. However, it seems that autosave is enabled in devonthink3, which makes the smart rule condition runs before/after saving unnecessarily frequent. Is there perhaps a workaround for such a behaviour?
Modified documents are automatically saved after deactivating the application or the modified window. And also before synchronizing. Therefore one possibility would be not to synchronize automatically but e.g. every 15 minutes instead.
