V1.3.4 doesn’t modify the database handling. But V1.3.3 didn’t work well on Leopard, e.g. marking viewed but unmodified rich text documents as modified. Maybe that makes the difference.

I don’t know, because I’m still on Tiger, and I don’t have very many RTFs in my database (mostly PDFs and the occasional webarchive), but it’s not re-writing every open and close anymore, and that makes me happy.
