Batch Rename Help

I have tried using scripts for renaming with regex and now also used batch rename from tools.

I am trying to change a date using MM/YYYY and flip it to YYYY/MM.

Ive used (\d{2})/(\d{4}) to grab it. the problem is when im trying to replace the text. for some reason i cant make it use regex and it just replaces it straight as β€œ$2/$1”

My steps:
I cmd+a the files inside a folder and then use tools > batch process and use scan name > regular expression > \d{2}/\d{4}

then i add another action with + Change name to $2/$1

What am i doing wrong?

It’s the wrong placeholder, \2/\1 should work.
