Best sync option as of now

Apologies. If this has been answered elsewhere, I didn’t find it.

Using latest version of DTTG and DTPO. Want to read and write files on Mac and iPad and keep them synced while on the road. Is Dropbox still preferred over iCloud because of metadata issues?

I’d prefer iCloud. It’s where I keep other apps synced. But I want max flexibility.

If there are other issues, like to know about them as well.

Due to the way Apple implemented iCloud, it is not feasible as a Sync location for DEVONthink To Go 2 at this time. Once the challenges can be overcome, we will offer it as a location.

Do note that we don’t prefer Dropbox or any other service. (I’d personally advocate CloudMe actually.)

Just curious. How is sync speed for CloudMe for access from US servers?

I’ve personally never seen any poor speeds. Obviously, if you have a larger database, the initial push will take longer, but that’s true of any cloud service.
