bibtex indexing -> no cite key field

I’m working with DT Pro 1.5.4 on OS 10.4.11

When indexing a BibTeX file, I get the sheet view, but it seems that DevonThink ignores the cite key (bibtexkey).

This is very bad for me, as I have also indexed the PDF files of the papers - and the file name of the corresponding pdf is the cite key…
(e. g. Gruenenberg2009.pdf). So the only way the pdf file is linked with the bibtex entry might be the cite key (if the pdf is a scan with no OCRed readable text information).

This problem was addressed in older requests in this forum - is there a solution or workaround?

Just send an example to cgrunenberg - at - devon-technologies.com and I’ll check if it’s at least working as expected using v2.
