Cannot empty trash in image capture

I have 640 files listed next to the trash in the image capture window, but I cannot empty the trash.

Nothing happens. No sound, no error.

Thanks! Yours is an unusual condition but you can do this…

  1. Quit DEVONthink.
  2. In the Finder, select the ​Go ​menu while holding the ​Option key​, then choose ​Library​.
  3. Go into Application Support/DEVONthink 3.
  4. Move the ScannerPlugin.trash file to the system trash.
  5. Relaunch DEVONthink.
