Cannot Remember Password (DevonThink 1.9)

Hi, I cannot remember my password for DevonThink Personal (Version 1)!

In the DevonThink Personal 2 manual it was suggested that I delete -
/Application Support/DevonThink/settings.plist

However, that file doesn’t exist for me in Devon Think 1.9.16. Only the database files are in that folder.

If there is any way to possibly get my text back I’d really appreciate it. Thanks.

Would upgrading to version 2 fix this? I tried the trial version but couldn’t figure out how to import the old database files. I’d happily pay for the new version to fix this.
