Can't Add to Database Inbox on iPhone (gets dumped into Global Inbox)

I have 4 databases that I am synching between my Mac and iPhone — that is, Mac (v3.7.2)/iCloud/iOS (v3).

When using my iPhone to add items to DEVONthink To Go v3 via the ShareSheet — for example a bookmark from Safari — for 2 of my databases the added items are always dumped into the Global Inbox (not the specific database’s inbox).

I have checked the synch settings on my Mac and iPhone, but can’t seem to find a setting that might rectify this behavior (that is, the correct behavior would be to add the item to the database’s inbox I have specified in DEVONthink To Go v3 ShareSheet’s “Database” field)

Does anyone have any tips for how I might resolve this?

P.S. I did some searching around on the forums, but couldn’t find any posts similar to the issue I am observing.

  • Do you also have DEVONthink To Go 2 installed on the device?
    • If so, you should delete it and reboot the device.

No DEVONthink To Go 2 on the device.

No problem.

  • Do you see more than one option for DEVONthink To Go in the Share sheet?

  • Is this happening with specific databases?

  • What specific version of DEVONthink To Go are you running?

I deleted the app (v3) and reinstalled. Seems to have done the trick.
