can't update from beta 5 to beta 6

Though I successfully updated fro 1.0 to the 2.0 beta and from each 2.0 beta to the following ones, I can’t update from beta 5 to beta 6. I either get the

Operation could not be completed. (OSStatus error -36.)

error message or one that says the operation can’t be completed because I don’t have sufficient admin privileges, though I’m logged in as an admin and/or I can supply a username/password.

I closed the sorter, rebooted, etc.

Any ideas?

Download the full beta 6 from the DEVON site, then delete PB 5 from your Applications folder (this may take an admin password), and then copy PB 6 to /Applications.
