change URL for webarchive

It looks like changing the URL property for a record of type webarchive does not actually update the URL stored in the webarchive. Is it supposed to?

Is this something I probably shouldn’t care about regardless? i.e., the URL of the webarchive is never used anywhere except in the location field of the browser window/tab?

No, the URLs of all resources stored in the web archive are static.
