When viewing documents in thumbnails view, you can select “show details” to show some details about the document next to the thumbnails. This is great, but how do I change which details are shown? I don’t need to know my PDF dimensions, for example, but I would like to see the author!
The details are not user-configurable. Perhaps in a future release.

I just read that Devonthink Pro allows custom metadata - would this achieve what I am trying to do, as per the above?
The details shown in columns and icon views can’t be customized yet but this is planned for future releases. Therefore custom metadata would be more useful in list views or while the Info > Custom inspector is visible.
