Chrome extension is working?

I own two macs, iMac-M1 and Macbook-M4; on the first Chrome extension is working, on the second is not…on both Chrome is version 154.0.8037.93

Flush caches. See if the extension works in another Chromium browser, e.g., Brave.

no way… on the iMac it works, on the macbook it doesn’t…

it opens Devonthink but it doesn’t add anything

"Force the permission request via the Sorter
If you’re using the browser extension and nothing happens, you can force macOS to display the permission pop-up using DEVONthink’s Sorter:

Open DEVONthink.
Display the Sorter (the sidebar or the icon in the top menu bar).
In the Sorter, click the tab for web capture (the browser or globe icon).
Click the icon for the browser you’re using (e.g. Safari, Chrome or Firefox).
This step forces DEVONthink to attempt a direct interaction: at this point, macOS should display a pop-up saying ‘DEVONthink wants to control your browser’. Click Allow.
Now check whether the entry has appeared in System Preferences > Privacy & Security > Automation."
