Clickable links in annotations? (DTTG4)

Hello,

Is there any way to make links in annotations clickable so that you can open links directly instead of having to select the whole link, click the > (very close to “Delete”), and then select “Open Link”?

Post a screen capture of what you’re referring to.

I see now that links in annotations are in fact clickable as long as you don’t place the cursor in the annotation, which can be difficult if you need to scroll down to get to the link.

If the cursor has been placed in the annotation, I need to select the whole link, then select >

And then select “Open Link”:

OK, I see. That’s because the annotations field is alwas in editing mode. We would need to find a way to make them clickable and editable at the same time. Doable, but a bit more complicated. @aedwards, please chime in.

Would it be possible to add an edit button that you would need to press in order to edit annotations?

We should be able to make it editable, adding an edit option on the long press menu for the link
