"Clip to DEVONthink" in Safari calls "Do you want to allow"

Each time I use the ‘Clip to DEVONthink’ in Safari (extension v1.2.6, with DT 2.10.2, on OS 10.14.1), I get an OS pop-up asking if I want to allow this action.

Is there an extra permission I need to set?

This is a macOS annoyance and cannot be stopped. The better way to access the DEVONthink clipper extension is from the Share menu in Safari’s toolbar. This method does not cause the macOS nattering. Make sure you have enabled “DEVONthink” in the Extensions settings in System Preferences.

Thanks. Much appreciated. Works like a charm.

You can always make things even more convenient (if you use a program like Quicksilver or Alfred or slog through Keyboard in System Preferences). I bound the “Add to DEVONthink” item in Safari’s Share submenu under File to the original keyboard shortcut. Now when I invoke that key command it works as it did before. I’m sure I found the binding tip here.

Also, simply hitting ‘return’ when the message pops up will confirm the option to ‘allow’. I find this to be a sufficiently quick workflow.
