I’m running Safari 18.1 on macOS Sequoia 15.1. I can’t find the clip to DT extension for Safari anywhere. When I choose Safari extensions from the Safari menu, the App Store comes up and there are extensions for DevonSphere and DevonAgent but none for DT.
Within DT itself I only see the extensions for Chrome and Firefox. I must be missing something but I don’t know where to look anymore. Thanks in advance for your help.
This is no different than Sonoma, Ventura, Monterey, … there is no downloadable extension and hasn’t been for years. You need to enable our extension in Safari’s Settings > Extensions.

Is DEVONthink 3 installed in the folder /Applications? Does a reboot fix this?
No I use DT 2.0 Pro. Reboot didnt help.
Only DEVONthink 3.x includes a native extension for modern versions of Safari.
Oh, thank you. I am sorry, but i did not find a hint for that fact. But i can still switch to Firefox or Chrome.
is there any good reason for using DTP2 instead of DTP3? The upgrade is worth it!
The 2.x line of DEVONthink has been out of support and development for several years now. We strongly encourage you to upgrade to DEVONthink 3 sooner rather than later. Select DEVONthink Pro > Purchase to open our online store with upgrade options specific to your license. The Pro edition would be the natural successor to Pro. And you should ensure you’re running version 2.11.3 before upgrading.
Hi, thanks for the info. I do not really use the app much. Cause am am retired. But I would Upgrade to the standard 3.x Version if this worked when comimg from 2.x Pro. The Pro Version is to expensive for almost no usage.
There’s no requirement to buy the Pro edition. If the Standard edition serves your needs, go for it!
