close all open folders at once

is there a command (shortcut) to close all open folders in DT’s notebook view? a button would be nice too.

Just press Cmd-A ("Select all") and Cmd-Opt-0 ("Collapse all").

That’s Cmd-Opt-ZERO, not Cmd-Opt-OPEN! ;D

i think - in many ways - the zero ("0") is a better bodybuilder-schwarzenegger-look-alike than the letter "O"…

You can close all open windows too with option click on the close box … like the finder.
