Column width auto-behaviour

Hello!

I happen to work with different screen combinations (home, office, on the go) and find myself having to resize and reposition windows many times a day/hour, which I handle with a little app. All good.

But then column width of the list view comes into play. And I have to resize the cols to, in my very case, maximize the name col and minimize all the others.

So here’s my request: it would help me switch screen combinations and placement if there was a way to let cols auto-resize according to a certain strategy (min, max, fit) that one could specify.

The request is noted but it’s the only one I can recall asking for the ability to define a strategy on column behavior.
