Comment info on hover?

I thought that in the past (DT2?) when I were hovering over a item in the item list DEVONthink would show the comment text of the record in a bubble.

However my DT3 doesn’t do that. (I see only the comment icon in the record.) Is there a setting for this? Couldn’t find anything in the manual.

Tooltips are only shown in case of too long names. To view the comments you could use the Comments column, the Annotations & Reminder inspector or the details in case of icon/columns view.

Thank you Christian. Don’t know where I got the memory of comment tooltips from…

In version 2 tooltips did indeed include them (but many people didn’t like this).
