Completely Delete DTPO and Reinstall

Apparently I have corrupted a few DTPO databases beyond repair, or beyond my knowledge of repairing them.

I’ve tried deleting DTPO, including getting into Preferences, Caches, and such, and then reinstalling the program. I’m still getting such and such database is already in use error, even though I am trying to establish a new database that has never contained content.

How do I completely remove DTPO for a fresh install – where are all the hidden files? What is the best way to reinstall DTPO so I can get rid of this crashing problem.

I have most of my data backed up in numerous places, so rebuilding DTPO databases shouldn’t be too much of a hassle, albeit time consuming.

Any advice?

Delete the folder ~/Library/Application Support/DEVONthink Pro 2 and delete ~/Library/Preferences/com.devon-technologies.thinkpro2.plist. Afterwards you should be able to use the application again and try to open your databases one after another to check which one is causing the problems.
