# Configuring web sync with HiDrive (webdav)

To save others some time spent experimenting, here is how I configured websync for Ionos HiDrive:

URL: [https://webdav.hidrive.ionos.com/users/](https://webdav.hidrive.ionos.com/users/)

User Name:

Password: The webdav password.

Encryption:

It was important to append users/ to the URL, where is the user name I gave myself when configuring HiDrive on the server.
