Because when I configure those settings, DT creates annotation files for images as well, which clutters my database. I only use annotations for videos.

Only if the transcription of images is enabled in Settings > Files > Import.

Yes, I know. I want images to be searchable, that’s why I enabled this option. But I don’t want DT to create new annotations for every one of the images.
