after conversion I have 2 files: a PDF and a PDF+Text File.
Can I delete the PDF only file after Conversion?
If yes, can this be done automatically?

If you are satisfied with the converted document (“pdf+text”), you can delete the “pdf”. DT has a setting (DT->Settings->OCR) to move the original to the trash automatically.
You might want to check the converted document before deleting the original. At least for the first few times. I’ve had some unexpected results and the conversion is not reversible.
