Need some help please. I want to create a smart rule that copies (or moves) a flagged item (in my case it’s just a HTML file from a RSS feed) in a specific group to a designated folder in the Finder. Is this possible with the current version of DEVONthink and if so what would be the best way to achieve this?
This is possible but requires a custom script (see Execute Script action of smart rules) that copies the files to the Finder.
Mmmm… If you index the folder you want those files, I think they can be copied/moved without any script to that folder and “magically” will be there outside of DT…
That’s perfect @rfog! Thanks for steering me in that direction – it’s a much more elegant solution. I can now trigger a Keyboard Maestro macro when it hits the folder so problem solved! Cheers.
