Correct use of Auto group and Auto Classify...

Just an update on how auto group is working for me.

I scanned another year’s worth of paperwork this morning (small receipts are a pain)!

I had around 350 documents, auto group did not perform that well for me. It grouped a fair amount when I selected a smaller sub set and a bit of manual grouping helped in the end.

Still wasn’t too painful - I suppose I could have done all of this without the help of the AI. I still have quite a bit of scanning to do, but I think I’ll get there hopefully it doesn’t take me too long.

So I’ve pretty much scanned an entire File cabinet and used Auto group as I’ve described in earlier posts.

So the outcome is that it’s not 100% due to OCR not being 100% It was pretty easy and worked about 75% of the time. From what I could figure out the 25% that it did work for was scan’s of faded documents that couldn’t be OCR’d (These are mostly receipts). All the documents that scanned in clearly auto grouped without a problem.

If anybody wants more information they should ask in the next few weeks before my memory fades.
