How do I create a Smart Group that finds files whose name starts with the current year as a variable equal to the real current year, not a fixed value like 2025.
Example: It would find the file named … 2025-01-04 but would not find 2024-01-04. Next year, it would find 2026-01-04 and not 2025-01-04.
You can’t. But in your example, you don’t need a variable since the current year is not a variable value. You would either edit the smart rule next year or create one for the each year.
