Custom Note Template

I am doing history/literature research. I created a simple date/time template for taking notes. I want to add the Zotero bibliographic reference for the book I’m taking notes from.

I can edit the rtf template and paste in the reference to use while I’m working on that particular book, then change it when I’m taking notes from a different book, but is there a way to automate that? Like have DT query Zotero so I can select a title?

Unfortunately the Zotero.app doesn’t seem to support AppleScript yet, therefore the only workaround is probably to use user interface scripting which is always fragile - new versions of the app or of macOS or a different localization can break the script.

Thanks anyway, Christian. Decided to copy a Zotero citation and paste it into an rtf. Not very efficient, but it will do for my purposes. June.
