Dark text on dark background while in dark mode

What’s with the dark text on dark background? Bug or am I doing something wrong?

Catalina 10.5.6 in dark mode.

  • Does it persist after quitting and relaunching DEVONthink?
  • Does it persist after rebooting the machine?

If you do get this, select the text, press Command+t to the fonts selector where you can change the colour of the text.

Every single time? No thanks. I purchased DT to help me become more productive, not less. Plus this doesn’t happen when not in dark mode. It also doesn’t happen in other apps, not even on the cheap or free ones.

Yes, both. Is it a preferences issue? ( I remember the good old days. “Just trash your preferences file”… voila! Problem solved.)

Are you pasting text into the Sorter or is this something you’ve typed?
