I have the same issue, I just upgraded and two of my databases have the key icon and one has the same icon you have. I can’t find any information on it. In the database with the unknown icon, I cannot delete duplicates, there is something wrong with it.
It means you have a permissions issue and the database isn’t writable.
Do a File > Rebuild Database on it.
Rebuild database is grayed out
Are you syncing it?
If so, maintenance commands are unavailable until the syncing is done.
Thank you for helping me with this issue. I have checked the box for syncing the database. I can’t see any sign of progress, is there some way I can see that?
Window > Activity is one place sync activity is shown.
PS: Where is this database located - the file path on the machine?

Thank you for the greeting. I am sure it is my fault, I have gone to window - activity and it is blank. It is in users databases. Two others I have in the same location are working ok
Hold the Option key and choose Help > Report bug to start a support ticket.

I now have the same issue on another database, WHY is this happening? devonthink pro 3 is full of bugs, now I have lost data Why? NEVER had any issues like this in Ver 2
While not perfect DEVONthink 3 is not ”full of bugs”.
File a support ticket as I instructed previously.
