Database item global URL... ?

I would like to know, if in DTP, like in Yojimbo, it is possible to have a global item URL to be used in other applications as a link to that item. For exemple, if i’m in iCal and I type in the note window the URL of a DT item, it opens DT and opens that item.

I’m really needing this as I need to interact between DTP and Bibdesk bibliographical information.

I would love to have this too.

Since DT’s Applescript support can reference an item as a path, is there a way to create a URL on the Mac that triggers a script? If so, it would be an easy thing to implement without modifying DT.

That’s not yet possible but will definitely come.
